Mint Chocolate Chip

Back on 2006, for our first date my husband and I went out for dinner. Afterwards we went to Baskin Robbins for dessert. I can't remember what flavor ice cream he had, maybe chocolate, but I had mint chocolate chip.


Let's fast forward ten years. A few night ago we went out to celebrate our sixth wedding anniversary and over dinner we were reminiscing about the first day we went out. Afterwards we stopped at a grocery store to get a few things and I got a container of mint chocolate chip ice cream. Even though this is not a flavor that we purchase frequently, it seem fitting. Funny how a flavor transported us to that moment of our first date.

We ended our anniversary celebration with a bowl of ice cream.
